On point setting makes the blocks appear very different to what they look like in a straight setting.

I think I like the second one best today.

Fran’s Five Patches 1, 2, Sampler from Virtual Quilter

A new selection of blocks, which is really a lot of modified versions of one block. This gives me a heap of blocks which are all based on the same grid, in this case five patch, which fit together at the outer edges, and have some features which match in the centre of the blocks.

I prefer applique to piecing, so I have added a butterfly, just because I can.

Five Patch Fragments 18, 19, 20 from Virtual Quilter

Love the design, contrast is about right, colours not so great … but the design is fine.

My opinions of the second one are the same as the first!

I don’t like the last one a lot, but there are some interesting bits I will play with, so it was worth keeping.
